Visit Bruges On Foot
Walking is the best way to discover Bruges!
Discover Bruges on foot! The city is rather small - you can easily walk across it in just one hour.
Explore Bruges at your own pace
You can obtain a brochure at our local Tourist Information Office (inside the Concertgebouw - on the Zand Square), including four walking tours of an hour and a half each. If this is your first visit to Bruges, we advise you to pick the first tour, leading as it does along the most spectacular sights. The other tours involve an indepth exploration of other, most interesting city quarters, i.e. the ramparts, folkloristic Bruges and hanseatic Bruges.
Available Walking Tours
- Tour A - "Bruges, city of monuments" (5 km)
- Tour B - "Sleeping Bruges" (3.7 km)
- Tour C - "Bruges and Europe" (4.2 km)
- Tour D - "Surprising Bruges" (4 km)

Reservations have to be made at least 7 working days on beforehand through the Tourist Office (+32 50 444646 or via toerisme.reserveringen@brugge.be).
