A celebration of contemporary art, fashion and design in the entire city, both indoors and outdoors. This ambitious project will  allow Bruges, home of traditional lace, to show its other side – a side laced with exciting new insights and fascinating new interpretations of lace. More and more artists and designers are discovering lace. One of the designers in the exhibition is Jeroen Verhoeven, with his famous Lace Fence: a meshwork of metal threads, worked into traditional lace motifs.
“Everybody will know his name,” said Donna Karan about this young Dutchman. The famous English design magazine Frame will publish a
special edition, which will serve as a catalogue.
