Mrs. Wilson has a weakness for handbags. Her husband, travelling alone, wanted to surprise her. He asked my advice as the hotel manager. I recommended the luxury Belgian brand, Delvaux. But then came the question of... Whether I liked the handbag. He could always exchange it for another. This was a delicate matter: Mr Wilson is a loyal client. What if I got it wrong? My mind was put at rest the very next time he came to stay. His wife loved the handbag. She even purchased matching shoes.
