How to reach Bruges by air?

Depending where you travel from, please follow one of the following itineraries to easily reach our hotel.

Route - via Brussels International Airport
  • Most major international airlines have direct flights to Brussels / Belgium. See list of airlines at the bottom of this page.
  • Brussels International Airport is only 1 hour away by car or train from Bruges.
  • Once you arrive at Brussels International Airport, you can rent a car or take the intercity train service to Bruges (1 hour)
  • Arriving at "Bruges Railway Station", just outside the station you can either take a taxi or use public transport (city bus every 10 minutes) to get to the hotel.
Route - via Brussels South Charleroi Airport
  • A lot of lowcost airlines have direct flights to Charleroi/Belgium.
  • Brussels South Charleroi Airport is about 1,5 hour away by car from Bruges.
  • Once you arrive at Brussels South Charleroi Airport, you can rent a car or hop on the shuttle bus to Bruges.
  • Arriving at "Bruges Railway Station", just outside the station you can either take a taxi or use public transport (city bus every 10 minutes) to get to the hotel. 
Route - via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
  • Amsterdam-Schiphol International Airport is a major gateway to Europe for overseas flights
  • From "Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport" you can take the "HSL Zuid Thalys" high speed train service to "Antwerp-Centraal Station". Several trains operating daily (duration - approx. 1,5 hour).
  • At "Antwerp-Centraal Station" join the connecting intercity train service to "Bruges" (via Ghent), operating almost every hour (duration - 1 hour)
  • Once you arrive at "Bruges", just outside the railway station you can either take a taxi or use public transport (city bus every 10 minutes) to get to the hotel
Route - via Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Airport
  • Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle is also a major gateway to Europe for overseas flights
  • From "Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport" you take the "Thalys" high speed train service to "Brussels-Midi". Many trains operating daily (duration 1 hour and 20 minutes)
  • At "Brussels-Midi" join the connecting intercity train service to "Bruges", operating almost every 1/2 hour (duration - 1 hour)
  • Once you arrive at "Bruges", just outside the railway station you can either take a taxi or use public transport (city bus every 10 minutes) to get to the hotel
Route - via London Heathrow / Gatwick
  • London-Heathrow is most probably the major gateway to Europe for overseas flights
  • From "London-Heathrow Airport" you can book connecting flights to "Brussels International Airport" (duration - 1 hour)
  • At Brussels, take the intercity train service to "Bruges" (1 hour)
  • Once you arrive at "Bruges", just outside the railway station you can either take a taxi or use public transport (city bus every 10 minutes) to get to the hotel

Taxi Service from Bruges Railway Station to the hotel

Just outside the "Bruges Railway Station" there is a taxi stand, where you can take a cab tot take you to the hotel. It takes about 10 minutes to get there. The rate is approximately € 8.00 (one way).

Public Transport from Bruges Railway Station to the hotel

Every 10 minutes there is a city bus transfer from "Bruges Railway Station" to the city centre of Bruges, where the hotel is located. Take bus N° 4 or 8. The rate is approximately € 1.00 (one way).
